He starred as the fictional counterterrorist Mitch Rapp in the American thriller Assassin and the main character of Transformers Bumblebee, alongside Caleb Holloway, who survived the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the disaster movie Deepwater Horizon. O'Brien also starred in the adventure movie Love and the Beast.
